Bei Brown with her drawings

Known as Bei by many Berkeley artists as well as adults who were toddlers in her preschool over the years in Berkeley. Active as a hiking leader in Tilden Park and a docent at the Oakland Museum as well as the owl population at the Berkeley Marina. She exhibited her pencil drawings at the annual El Cerrito Art and local cafes. We will miss her love of nature and sharing her knowledge of plants and birding.

A viewing bench honoring Bei Brown will be placed near the visitor center of Tilden Park. The ceremony honoring Bei and her volunteer work for the park will take place July 30, 2013. Those interested in attending please meet at the Visitor Center Parking Lot.
