‘Paws To Read’ Show At El Cerrito Library

Thirteen members of El Cerrito Art Association took the opportunity to create works of art related to “Paws to Read” the summer reading program of Contra Contra County Library.

Works now on display on the walls are by Patricia Bergman, Ikuko Boyland, Charlotte Britton, Rich Fowler, Kathleen Glenn, Elizabeth Kavaler, Christine Mulder, Ann Patterson, Barbara Rockhold, Joanna Shafer, Diane Stavrum and Jean Witzke. During August, Nga Trinh will show her origami dogs as part of the art in the display case.

Both parts of this exhibit continue through August 29.

Currently in the display case are animal sketches by Marin County artist and landscape architect Lisa Guthrie.

El Cerrito Library is located at 6510 Stockton Ave in El Cerrito. The Library is open Mondays & Tuesdays 12-8, Thursdays 10-6, Fridays 1-5, Saturdays 10-5 (and is closed Wednesdays & Sundays).
