Palace of Fine Arts, Posters of Light

100 years ago, light shows and refined Art Deco/Art Nouveau styles defined San Francisco. By using new digital technology, I discovered that 1960’s posters focused on the same formula to herald the rock music era.

Surprises discovered with inventive “solarizations” have inspired me to play with both positive and negative images since studying photography at College of Marin. Bachelor degrees in Art/Photography and Music/Voice at San Francisco and Hayward State Universities preceded twenty years of public relations and art for business and schools. I returned to drawing and watercolor at the Peralta Community Colleges and have been engaged in Multi Media Arts at Berkeley City College for four years.
