Read to the Rhythm

“Read to the Rhythm” – El Cerrito Library Group Exhibition Paintings, collages, and mosaics by eleven ECAA artists illustrate the theme for the library’s summer reading program:  “Read to the Rhythm.”

Artists:   Daniel Altman, Ikuko Boyland, Charlotte Britton, Mary Frances Crabtree, Carol Ginsburg, Diana Kaften, Sylvia Mori, Stan Osher, Joanna Shafer, Phyllis Whiteman, and Jean Witzke.

Work will be on display through August 28. The Library is located at 6510 Stockton Ave in El Cerrito. ECAA member Carol Ginsberg and Ellis Island Old World Folk Band will perform on Saturday, August 15 11am-noon at the Library. We are all invited to come hear the music and enjoy the exhibit!

Ellis Island Old World Folk Band family concert at the El Cerrito Library,  Saturday, August 15, 11-12pm.  6510 Stockton Ave., El Cerrito.
The band has played a pioneering role in the revival of klezmer music in the San Francisco Bay Area, delighting audiences with its performance of lively Eastern European Jewish music for over three decades.
