March 2 – BLAKE GARDENS
Directions: From Berkeley, N. Oakland : The Alameda to the Circle, Arlington Ave, left on to Rincon, first parking lot on right is Blake. From Alameda. Arlington Ave, right onto Rincon.
March 9 – HILLSIDE NATURAL AREA EL CERRITO
This is a beautiful site. Easy access. From El Cerrito area take Schmidt Lane to just before El Cerrito Recyling Center & park on street to meet. From Berk/Oak. take Arlington off the Marin Ave. traffic circle, continue to left on Moesser LN, turn rght onto Navellier ST, rght onto Schmidt LN arrive at parking area
March 13 – ECAA MEETING & DEMONSTRATION
March 16 – WILDCAT CANYON AT MONTE CRESTA AVE. Directions: Go North on Highway 80 toward Sacramento. Exit right on to San Pablo Dam Road (the one after McBryde). Right onto Morrow Dr. Take next left onto Hillcrest. Follow Hillcrest as it turns sharply right. Second right on Bonita Rd. Left on Monte Cresta Ave. The hillside opens out onto vistas of the parklands & the bay.

March 23 – LAKE TEMESCAL
Originally constructed as a storage lake for drinking water, Temescal open to the public in 1936 as one of the EB Regional Park District’s first three parks. The two-storey stone “Beach House” building overlooking the lake was built in 1940. Meet near the picnic area & dock about halfway between Broadway & Broadway Terrace entrances.

March 30 – TILDEN PARK, Brazil Building
Enter Tilden from the intersection of Spruce/Grizzly Peak Blvd onto Wildcat Canyon Rd. Follow this to the the point that Shasta Rd enters Tilden. The Brazil Bldg is on your left, parking lot entrance is just beyond the junction. Views include the hills and Tilden Botanical Garden just beyond. You can also enter Tilden by the Shasta Rd entrance from Grizzly Peak Blvd.
