July 10, 2017 – Lisa Toby Goodman – Photographer

Our program on July 10 features photographer Lisa Toby Goodman as she shares her unique path and evolution –from photography to painting and back again. She uses the camera as a tool to paint with light, with long, hand held exposures to create – entirely in camera – unexpected worlds.

Not content to take “straight photographs”, botanical or otherwise, Toby’s technique allows her to isolate subjects within their immediate orbits to create haunting and brooding scenes of beauty.

She has been represented by several fine art photography galleries and her work appears in collections both here and abroad.
