April 9, 2018 – Margaret Fago – Watercolor Painting Demonstration

On April 9th 2018 , Margaret Fago will be using photos of her subject, plus some sketches as reference. She will show how water moves and how everything around it moves as well. “Water is a very exciting and elusive subject.”

She has been painting her entire adult life.  As well as waterscapes, she has been known to paint people, animals, boats and homes. After being around boats, marinas, the bay and ocean as a sailmaker and boat canvas designer and watercolorist, Margaret is now devoting full time to watercolor painting.

For the past 10 years she has been teaching watercolor at the Frank Bette Center of the Arts in Alameda. Her work is collected internationally: www.margaretfago.com

Our program for May 14th is a demonstration by watercolor artist David Savellano.  (Note Change)

Programs are free and open to the public at the El Cerrito Community Center 7007 Moeser Lane.
