July 5 —END OF CREST AVE, PT RICHMOND From El Cerrito, take Cutting Blvd or 580 from Berkeley to downtown Point Richmond. (turn right to avoid going thru tunnel) and if you are now on E Richmond Avenue, follow it. Turn south (left) at the first street that looks like it will go a distance (Washington Ave.). When you reach the crest of the hill you are at Crest Avenue. Turn left and drive to the end of the road. Google maps would be a big help. July 12 — TILDEN BOTANICAL GARDEN Enter Tilden from the intersection of Spruce/Grizzly Peak Blvd onto Wildcat Canyon Rd. Follow this to the point that Shasta Rd enters Tilden. The Brazil Bldg is on your left, parking lot entrance is just beyond the junction. Views include the hills and Tilden Botanical Garden just beyond. You can also enter Tilden by the Shasta Rd entrance from Grizzly Peak Blvd. July 19 — BERKELEY COUNTRY CLUB – DECK NEXT TO CLUBHOUSE 7901 Cutting Blvd., El Cerrito. Ikuko Boyland contacted the general manager for this beautiful site. We will also have lunch together afterwards at the club. (dress code, no jeans) From San Pablo Ave., left onto Hill St. and bear right onto Cutting Blvd., left into club house. From Arlington, right onto Cutting Blvd., left into club house. July 26 —CHINA CAMP STATE PARK- SAN RAFAEL 101 Peacock Gap Trail. Take 580 to Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. Use right lane to merge onto US 101 N, use right lane to take exit 452 toward Central San Rafael turn right onto 2nd St., continue onto 3rd St., continue onto Point San Pedro Road, continue onto N San Pedro Road, slight left, China Camp on left.
