Our March 9th program features Oakland photographer Denise Fuson’s demonstration of transferring digitally captured images using an emulsion coated film. She will present the process and materials for manipulation of a photographs for unique and often surprising final effects.
Her presentation will include a demonstration of the procedure, discussion of other methods, options for manipulation of the image and examples of the final product. A handout will include a detailed description of this process and a resource list.
A retired physician, her lifelong interest in art eventually settled on digital photography, with an exploration of long exposures, night photography and non-traditional use of captured images.
Our April 13 program is a demonstration by illustrator Lance Jackson.
Free and open to the public, please join us in the Garden Room of the El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane El Cerrito from 7-9 pm.
