We’re looking forward to resuming our weekly outings after the July 4th
holiday. We meet Thursdays 11am to 1pm and welcome all artists.

In keeping with California’s current COVID 19 requirements, we ask all
to bring and wear a face mask in public or whenever within six feet of
anyone else. Please distance yourself from others at the sites.

July 9 Meeker Slough, Richmond From Berkeley take I-80 north. Merge
onto I-580 toward San Rafael/Richmond Bridge. Exit at South 23rd
Street/Marina Bay and turn left onto Marina Bay Parkway. Continue just past
Regatta Blvd (4th light), turn left onto Bayside Drive. At the end is a small
parking area and a path to the slough.

July 16 Live Oak Park, 1301 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley (between Berryman
and Eunice Streets) Live Oak Park and Codornices Creek offer countless
classic East Bay views.

July 23 WILDCAT CANYON, Monte Cresta Ave. San Pablo The dead end
of Monte Cresta Ave. provides open vistas of Alvarado Park, Wildcat
Canyon, and further parklands to the Bay. Take I-80 north to the San Pablo
Dam Rd. exit and turn right onto San Pablo Dam Road. Next turn right onto
Morrow Dr., and then left onto Hillcrest Road. Follow Hillcrest a while. Turn
right onto Bonita Rd., then left onto Monte Cresta Ave. We meet at the end.

July 30 Berkeley Marina. Take I-80 to the University Avenue Exit. Go west
to the Berkeley Marina on University Avenue, and next turn right on Marina
Boulevard. Continue to the left as Marina Boulevard becomes Spinnaker
Way. Meet at the circular parking area at the end. From Berkeley take your
favorite way to the Marina and follow the directions above. We will be next
to Caesar Chavez kite area on the water.
