We meet Thursdays 11 am – 1 pm and welcome all artists. 

Covid Precautions: 

Because Covid is still widespread, we will be staying away from urban, more populated areas, for the month of February. We ask all to bring and wear a face mask in public or whenever within six feet of anyone else. Please distance yourself from others at the sites.

February 3: Tilden Regional Park, Inspiration point  

From Berkeley take 1-80 the University Exit and go east towards campus. Turn left onto Oxford St., right onto Rose St., and left onto Spruce St. Follow Spruce uphill until it turns into Wildcat Canyon. At the intersection with Grizzly Peak Blvd continue straight ahead on Wildcat Canyon past the Brazilian Room and the Regional Parks Botanic Garden following the signs to Inspiration Point. Meet in the parking lot to the left.

February 10: King Court, El Cerrito

FROM ARLINGTON BLVD turn downhill (west) onto Moeser Ln., then right onto King Dr. After Shevlin Dr. bear left onto King Court and park at the dead end. FROM SAN PABLO AVE turn uphill (east) onto Moeser Ln., left onto King Drive, and bear left onto King Court. Park, and meet at the end of King Court.

February 17: Meeker Slough, Richmond 

From Berkeley, N.Oakland take Hwy 80 north, onto 580 toward Richmond Bridge. Take South 23rd St/Marina Bay exit left over highway onto Marina Bay Pkwy (1st traffic light). Continue on Marina Bay across Regatta Blvd (4th light), turn left onto Bayside Dr. Parking area accesses path to the slough.

February 24: Wildcat Canyon at Monte Cresta Ave

North on Highway 80 toward Sacramento. Exit right on to San Pablo Dam Road (the one after McBryde). Right onto Morrow Dr. Take next left onto Hillcrest. Follow Hillcrest as it turns sharply right. Second right on Bonita Rd. Left on Monte Cresta Ave. The hillside opens out onto vistas of the parklands & the bay.
