June 2: ANNIE’S ANNUALS 740 Market Ave Richmond* www.anniesannuals.com/ We can paint anywhere within the garden areas, just be mindful not to block the aisles. From San Pablo Ave, turn left on Church Lane in San Pablo which becomes Market Ave. past Rumrill Blvd on the left after the railroad tracks. Beware of road construction in the area. Or head north on Seventh Street in Richmond which becomes Fred Jackson Way and turn right on Market Ave. Annie’s is on the right just past Sixth Street.
June 9: BLUME HOUSE AND BUNKHOUSE 13873 San Pablo Ave., San Pablo * We have arranged for the Alvarado Adobe and Blume House to be open for us to paint the courtyards, interiors, or even a still life of the artifacts inside the museums. Park in the lot in front of the Blume House Museum. There is a coffee shop and restrooms located next door at the San Pablo Public Library.
June 16: BLAKE GARDENS 70 Rincon Rd, Kensington* blakegarden.ced.berkeley.edu/ See what the Garden looks like in late spring! From the north, take Arlington Blvd and turn right onto Rincon Rd. and turn right again into the parking lot. From the south, turn left just before the flashing light onto Rincon Road. Then turn left into the driveway for the Blake Garden parking lot. Rincon Road meets Arlington Blvd. both north & south of the big church on the west side of Arlington.
June 23: BERKELEY MARINA*
Take University Ave. west to the end. Turn left into the parking lot. We’ll meet at the left (northeast) corner of the parking lot near Shore Bird Park where the cove has tables trees, water and facilities. Clumps of trees and berms provide shelter from the wind.
June 30: BERKELEY GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB VISTA DECK– (left of the clubhouse)* 7901 Cutting Blvd., El Cerrito berkeleycountryclub.com/about-us/directions. From San Pablo Ave., left onto Hill St. bear right onto Cutting Blvd., left into parking and club house. From the Arlington, right onto Cutting Blvd., left to club house. Lunch optional afterward!
