March 2 – BLAKE GARDENS
Directions: From Berkeley, N. Oakland : The Alameda to the Circle, Arlington Ave, left on to Rincon, first parking lot on right is Blake. From Alameda. Arlington Ave, right onto Rincon.
March 9 – HILLSIDE NATURAL AREA EL CERRITO
This is a beautiful site. Easy access. From El Cerrito area take Schmidt Lane to just before El Cerrito Recyling Center & park on street to meet. From Berk/Oak. take Arlington off the Marin Ave. traffic circle, continue to left on Moesser LN, turn rght onto Navellier ST, rght onto Schmidt LN arrive at parking area
March 13 – ECAA MEETING & DEMONSTRATION
March 16 – WILDCAT CANYON AT MONTE CRESTA AVE. Directions: Go North on Highway 80 toward Sacramento. Exit right on to San Pablo Dam Road (the one after McBryde). Right onto Morrow Dr. Take next left onto Hillcrest. Follow Hillcrest as it turns sharply right. Second right on Bonita Rd. Left on Monte Cresta Ave. The hillside opens out onto vistas of the parklands & the bay.

March 23 – LAKE TEMESCAL
Originally constructed as a storage lake for drinking water, Temescal open to the public in 1936 as one of the EB Regional Park District’s first three parks. The two-storey stone “Beach House” building overlooking the lake was built in 1940. Meet near the picnic area & dock about halfway between Broadway & Broadway Terrace entrances.

March 30 – TILDEN PARK, Brazil Building
Enter Tilden from the intersection of Spruce/Grizzly Peak Blvd onto Wildcat Canyon Rd. Follow this to the the point that Shasta Rd enters Tilden. The Brazil Bldg is on your left, parking lot entrance is just beyond the junction. Views include the hills and Tilden Botanical Garden just beyond. You can also enter Tilden by the Shasta Rd entrance from Grizzly Peak Blvd.

October 6 – BERKELEY NORTH BRANCH LIBRARY

Meet at the Library, Hopkins & the Alameda. From El Cerrito/Richmond, take Arlington Blvd to the Circle, use Montery exit down hill to The Alameda. From Berkeley/ N. Oakland, take MLK north, re- main on Alameda, Library on your left at intersection. This is a fall color location.

October 13 – MORE FALL PAINTING

From Charlotte: 3000 block of Benvenue in Berkeley. From El Cerrito/Richmond, Hwy 80 to Ashby hwy 13 turn off go east, turn right on College, right on Woolsey, left on Benvenue. Tree lined and nice architecture. From Berkelely suggest the same route or east on Alcatraz, left on College, left on Woolsey & left on to Benvenue. Restrooms in Library. Meet in middle of the block.

October 3– ECAA MEETING October 7,8,9 – ANNUAL SHOW

October 20– BERKELEY MARINA.
Take Highway 80 to University turnoff. Head to Marina and right on Marina Blvd., left onto Spin- naker Way meet at circular parking area at end. From Berkeley, take your favorite way to Marina, follow same directions. We will be next to Caesar Chavez Kite area on the water.

October 27 – VIEW of the BAY from ROGER CT.
The location is off Potrero Av, between Julian and Navallier streets. Turn North onto Roger Ct., which goes steeply uphill ending in a cul de sac. One side is a steep hillside with trees, the other is a sweeping view of EC, Brooks & Angel Islands, and the Golden Gate. If it is not hazy, San Francisco should be center stage. It needs good visibility for the view, but is out of the wind and has a little shade later in the day from the hillside and trees. Park diagonally on the north side.

November 3 – ST. ALBERT’S PRIORY
5890 Birch Court. From Hwy 80/580 take Ashby exit, rght on College, left on to Birch Court. From Berkeley, N. Oakland, go to south on College, left on Birch Court. This is a dead end where you will park in parking lot or on the street, meet a gate until we have collected a group and the guest- master can unlock gate. NOTE: LUNCH IS AVAILABLE @ $12, BUT MUST RSVP NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCT. 31. EMAIL ME AND I WILL GIVE REBECCA A HEAD COUNT.
November 10 – ST. JOSEPH’S VINEYARD
2540 Church Lane. Take I-80 north, take exit 16 for San Pablo Ave. Left onto San Pablo, right onto Church Lane. We will meet in the vineyard area.
November 14– ECAA MEETING
November 17 – END OF BUCHANAN NEAR THE ALBANY BULB
Take I-80 to Buchanan turnoff and go under freeway to the bay. Drive to end of Buchanan which dead ends into parking. This is near Albany Bulb, but has been cleaned up and is now part of the Bay Trails system and has been upgraded.

Take 580 toward Richmond/San Rafael Bridge, take exit 7A Continue onto Stenmark Dr. N.
September 8 – ALVARADO PARK
5755 McBryde Ave. Richmond.
From El Cerrito/Richmond or N. Oakland/Berkeley take Arlington Avenue to McBryde and turn up the hill toward the park. From the 80 or San Pablo Avenue turn East onto McBryde uphill to the
entrance.
September 12– ECAA MEETING
September 15 – KINGS COURT.  
( from Arlington lft on Moesser LN, Right on King DR., @ Shevlin DR, bear left onto King CT. Park at end. From Moesser, lft on King DR, bear left on to King CT. Park at end of Court.
September 22 – RICHMOND, MEEKER SLOUGH 
Directions: From Berkeley, N. Oakland take Hwy 80 getting onto 580 toward Richmond Bridge. Take South23rd St./Marina Bay exit off 580. Turn left over highway on Marina Bay(1st traffic light.) Continue on Marina Bay across Regatta (4th traffic light). Turn left on to Bayside Dr. Parking in small area accessing path to Slough
September 29 – BERKELEY BOTANICAL GARDEN
200 Centennial Drive.
From El Cerrito/Richmond take hwy 80 to University turnoff, make right onto
San Pablo, left on to Dwight ( or take Arlington to the Alameda, MLK, left on Dwight) left on Prosjpect right on Canyon Rd, slight left onto Centennial Dr. From Berk./N.Oakland Telgraph to Right on Dwight, left on Prospect, right on Canyon, slight left onto Centennial. Park on left in lot above garden. Admission is $10 adults, $8 seniors. Check your library for free passes.
