March 1 – Seaview and Moser

Almond trees starting to bloom. This location suggested by Charlotte Britton You can access Moeser from San Pablo Avenue and head straight up the hill to the Sea View intersection.

March 8 – San Pablo Civic Center

Take I-80 East, San Pablo Dam Rd. exit left onto San Pablo Dam Road. Right onto San Pablo Ave. Left into Civic Center Parking/Los Montanas Parking.

March 15 – Jewel Lake, Tilden Park

Park and meet at Tilden Indian Camp. We will then go to the Wildcat Creek Trail head. 1/2 mile walk. Part of it is a great boardwalk that leads to the lake. Amenities at trailhead: parking, water, benches, information, restrooms, Visitor Center, phone. From Berkeley, take Spruce, sharp left onto Canon Drive, bear left onto Central Park Dr. Park and drive to parking. From El Cerrito area, San Pablo to Marin Ave. at round-about, up Marin left on Spruce, sharp left on Canon, bear left onto Central Park Drive.

March 22 – Delaware and 5th, Berkeley

There is a great little village of buildings between 5th and 6th streets on Delaware. It is tucked away from traffic and has many Victorian/beach style cottages and store fronts with attractive landscaping. From El Cerrito take Hwy 80 to University turn left on to 5th, park in parking lot at Delaware or on the street after passing Hearst. From Oakland/south Berk. Either take 80 to University or take the 13(Ashby) right onto San Pablo, left onto Cedar, left on to 5th. We will meet at corner of 5th and Delaware.

From I-580 W, take exit 7B toward Richmond Pkwy. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Castro St. Use the right lane to take the Interstate 80 ramp. Use the right lane to merge onto Richmond Pkwy.
