Annual Art Show and Sale: Oct 6 – 8, 2023

Each year in October we host a non-juried exhibition which includes cash and merchant awards. Entries are open to local artists working in a wide range of  fine art media including oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, graphic art, photography, digital, mixed media and sculpture.

In-Person Programs have resumed!

Each second Monday, February – November, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, in the Garden Room of the El Cerrito Community Center.

Our programs feature area artists and speakers who provide demonstrations and talks on a range of media and interests.

These are free of charge and open to the general public as well as our members and guests.

Plein Air Painting Group

Our Plein Air group meets Thursdays at 11 am – 1:00 pm. Painting locations February – November are announced here on the website. During December and January we meet at the Blake Garden, 70 Rincon Road, Kensington blakegarden.ced.berkeley.edu as weather permits.

We welcome everyone – from watercolorists to acrylic painters, graphic artists to photographers. Come, join us and paint, draw or take photos!

Exhibit Spaces

We host booth spaces for members to display their artwork for sale at the City of El Cerrito’s annual July 4th Celebration.

The association sponsors rotating displays at the Community Center entryway and the El Cerrito DMV.  The El Cerrito Library venue is no longer available, arrangements are in process for an alternate location for individual or group exhibits.
