May 3 – TILDEN BOTANICAL GARDEN

Enter Tilden from the intersection of Spruce/Grizzly Peak Blvd onto Wildcat Canyon Rd. Follow this to the point that Shasta Rd enters Tilden. The Brazil Bldg is on your left, parking lot entrance is just beyond the junction. Views include the hills and Tilden Botanical Garden just beyond. You can also enter Tilden by the Shasta Rd entrance from Grizzly Peak Blvd.

May 10 – VIEW FROM ROGER CT

The location is off Potrero Ave, between Julian & Navallier streets. Turn north onto Roger Ct. which goes steeply uphill ending in a cul-de-sac. One side is the hillside with trees, the other a sweeping view of EC, Brooks & Angel islands and the Golden Gate. If it is not foggy, San Francisco should be center stage. It needs good visibility for the view but is out of the wind and has a little shade later in the day from the hillside & trees. Park diagonally on the north side.

May 17 –PT. MOLATE BEACH PARK

Take 580 toward Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. Take exit 7A and continue onto Stenmark Dr. N. Follow around until parking on the left.

May 24 – KIRSTON KOTHS’ GARDEN

2646 Mira Vista St. El Cerrito –(Charlotte) Kirston Koths has invited us to return to his beautiful backyard and paint there again! From San Pablo Ave., take Barrett Ave. up the hill and turn left (north) onto Mira Vista. OR follow Arlington Blvd. and turn down the hill at Barrett. Continue west toward the Bay for six blocks to Mira Vista and turn right. The painting site is on your right at 2646 Mira Vista. Go thru the gate at the right side of the house to enter the garden.

May 31 – STRAWBERRY CREEK PARK

1260 Allston Way, Berkeley From El Cerrito area take 580 south, exit University, right on Acton, Right on Addison. Park is on left. Park on street. Walk on into park toward creek area. There are older buildings, bridge, urban park setting. Park entrance is also on Allston as address indicates, but Addison is a better access.
