February 10th, 7- 9pm: Michelle Wilson

Michelle Wilson lives in Oakland and is an interdisciplinary thinker whose work involves papermaking, printmaking, book arts, installation, and social practice.

She has exhibited her work both internationally and in the United States.  Her practice includes frequent collaborations with other artists, in particular her ongoing projects Book Bombs (with Mary Tasillo) and the Rhinoceros Project (with Anne Beck).

Her artworks are in various collections, including Yale University, Columbia University, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts (Washington, DC).

Michelle is currently teaching printmaking and seminars at San Jose State University and Stanford University, as well as workshops throughout the Bay Area.
