We meet Thursdays 11am – 1pm and welcome all artists. In keeping with COVID-19 state requirements, we ask all to bring and wear a face mask in public or whenever within six feet of anyone else. Please distance yourself from others at the sites.

April 1: Aquatic Park, City of Berkeley
Meet at the intersection of Addison and Bolivar, nearest address: 605 Addison. This is a public park created by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. From this spot we can draw views of the water, the footbridge over the freeway and the buildings. The new benches face the water. From San Pablo Ave turn west towards the bay on Cedar St. Turn left on Fourth St, go past the old Spenger’s on the left and cross under the freeway at University. Take the first right onto Addison. Cross the railroad tracks and the street dead ends into Aquatic Park at Bolivar. Turn left onto Bolivar, parking on the left.
April 8: Wildcat Canyon, Monte Cresta Ave, San Pablo
We meet at the end of Monte Cresta Ave, which provides open vistas of Alvarado Park, Wildcat Canyon and further to the Bay. Take I-80 north to San Pablo Dam Rd exit and turn right onto San Pablo Dam Rd, right again onto Morrow Dr and then left onto Hillcrest Rd. Follow Hillcrest a while. Turn right onto Bonita Rd., then left onto Monte Cresta Ave.
April 15: Shorebird Park, 160 University Ave, Berkeley
Take University Ave west towards the Bay. At the end of University Avenue, turn left onto Seawall Drive, where there’s parking. Walk east along the path towards the South Sailing Basin. There are several interesting aquatic and hillside views along the waterfront.
April 22: Live Oak Park, 1301 Shattuck, Berkeley (between Berryman & Eunice)
Live Oak Park and Codornices Creek offer countless classic East Bay views.
April 29: Tilden Regional Park, Inspiration Point
From Berkeley take I-80 to the University Exit and go east toward campus. Turn left onto Oxford St., right onto Rose St., and left onto Spruce St. Follow Spruce St. uphill. At the intersection with Grizzly Peak Blvd., Spruce St. changes to Wildcat Canyon Rd. Continue straight ahead and follow Wildcat Canyon Road past the Brazilian Room, the Regional Parks Botanic Garden, and continue following the signs to Inspiration Point. Meet in the parking lot to the left.
