June 3– Lake Temescal*  6500 Broadway, Oakland, North Entrance

Using Ashby Ave N, Tunnel Rd and Broadway: Continue onto Ashby Ave N. Continue onto Tunnel Rd. Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left to stay on Tunnel Rd (signs for CA-24/Downtown Oakland/Walnut Creek) which will become Caldecott Ln. Turn right onto freeway overpass, then right at the 1st cross street onto Broadway. Destination will be on the left. Parking fee of $5 per vehicle may apply if kiosk is attended.

June 10– 3310 Powell St, Emeryville*

Take exit 9 on I-80 toward Powell St in Emeryville. Head west on Powell St to the end.  Great marina and bay views.

June 17– El Cerrito Memorial Grove, 7501 Schmidt Lane, El Cerrito

Head uphill from San Pablo Ave on Moeser Lane or downhill from Arlington Blvd, then turn north on Navellier St. Turn right (east) onto Schmidt Lane and park on the street. Great panoramic views of the bay.

 June 24– Meeker Slough, Marina Bay, Richmond

From Berkeley drive northwest toward the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge on I-580 West. Take S. 23rd St/Marina Bay Pkwy exit and turn left at the top of the ramp. Go over the freeway (west) onto Marina Bay Parkway. Continue on Marina Bay Pkwy past one signal, past the train tracks, past another signal for about 1 mile. Turn left on Bayside Dr. and park at the dead-end circle. Walk from the parking area to the public shore and turn right. We often paint near the bridge.
