We meet Thursdays 11 am – 1 pm and welcome all artists. Even though CDC and state regulations have been rescinded, we ask that everyone continue to bring and use masks if required, or as needed at the site.
August 5: Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline – Keller Beach*
Take I-580 in Richmond to Exit 8, the Canal Boulevard/Garrard Boulevard Exit. Turn left onto Canal Boulevard and continue under the freeway, turn right onto West Cutting at the corner near the Chevron Station, and left onto South Garrard Blvd at the three-way stop. Proceed through the tunnel onto Dornan Drive. Park. The beach is on the immediate right.
August 12: Berkeley Country Club “Wedding Deck” 7901 Cutting Blvd, El Cerrito* We have been here before when it was called Mira Vista, but it has now resumed the original name. The large lower deck to the left of the clubhouse overlooks part of the course, with views of Mt Tamalpais, bridges, and bays. There is a full plexiglass windscreen and a few umbrellas. Oil painters, please bring a drop cloth. Restrooms are available in the clubhouse. Masks requested while indoors unless eating, or current standards. August 19: Indian Rock Park, 950 Indian Rock Ave, Berkeley
Enter Marin Circle and take the exit onto Indian Rock Avenue just after the Marin exit. Head north to the intersection of San Mateo Rd. Park on the street.(no restrooms)
August 26: Berkeley Marina and Shorebird Park*
Take University Avenue in Berkeley west to the end at Skates Restaurant. Turn left toward His Lordship’s and left into parking lot. We meet at the left (northeast) corner of parking lot near Shore Bird Park. Bench, table facing Bay and the park lining the cove has tables trees, water and facilities. Clumps of trees and berms provide shelter from the wind.
