We meet at the site on Thursdays 11 am – 1 pm and welcome all artists. We’ll resume meeting afterward at the site to share our work with each other at 1 pm.
Oct. 3: THERE WILL BE NO SCHEDULED PLEIN AIR EVENT TODAY AS WE GET READY TO CHECK IN ARTWORK FOR THE ANNUAL SHOW.
*Oct. 10: LIVE OAK PARK: 1301 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, between Berryman St. and Eunice St. Live Oak Park and Codornices Creek offer countless classic East Bay views.
*Oct. 17: POINT PINOLE: Meet at Atlas parking lot. (This is the North/newer parking lot) From I-580 east take the exit at Richmond Parkway/Castro Street and go north for about 5 miles on Richmond Parkway and turn left on to Atlas Blvd. The park entrance will be ahead on the left, past the railroad. From 1-80, exit at Richmond Parkway and turn left (West). Take Richmond Parkway west past San Pablo Ave, then turn right onto Atlas Blvd. The park entrance will be ahead on the left, past the railroad.
*Oct. 24: ESPRESSO ROMA CAFÉ: 1549 Hopkins St, Berkeley. The café is at the corner of Monterey Avenue and Hopkins St in Berkeley – across the street from Monterey Market. Grab a coffee and we’ll meet in the outdoor courtyard. Paint people, street scenes, or there are beautiful trees nearby.
October 31: KING COURT, El Cerrito: From Arlington Blvd turn downhill (west) onto Moeser Lane, then right onto King Drive. After Shevlin Drive bear left onto King Court and park at the dead end. From San Pablo Avenue turn uphill (east) onto Moeser Lane, then left onto King Drive, and bear left onto King Court. Park and meet at the end of King Court.
