We meet at the site on Thursdays 11 am – 1 pm and welcome all artists. We’ll resume meeting afterward at the site to share our work with each other at 1 pm.
July 3: THERE WILL BE NO SCHEDULED PLEIN AIR – The World One Festival at Cerrito Vista Park 10-5 is on Friday and many artists will be getting ready for that.
July 10: BLAKE GARDENS* 70 Rincon Rd. Kensington.
Since we were unable to get inot the gardens on June 19th, let’s try again. From the north, take Arlington Blvd and turn right onto Rincon Rd. and turn right again into the parking lot. From the south, turn left just before the flashing light onto Rincon Road. Then turn left into the driveway for the Blake Garden parking lot. Rincon Road meets Arlington Blvd. both north & south of the big church on the west side of Arlington.
July 17: 3310 POWELL ST Emeryville*
Take exit 9 on I-80 toward Powell St in Emeryville. Head west on Powell St to the end. Great marina and bay views.
July 24: ALVARADO PARK*. 5755 McBryde Ave. Richmond. From El Cerrito/Richmond or N. Oakland/Berkeley take Arlington Avenue to McBryde and turn up the hill toward the park. From Hwy 80 or San Pablo Avenue turn East onto McBryde uphill to the entrance. Restrooms available.
July 31: MEEKER SLOUGH, Richmond. From Berkeley, take I-80 north. Use the right two lanes to merge onto I-580 toward Richmond Bridge. Take the South 23rd St/ Marina Bay exit. Turn left onto Marina Bay Parkway at the signal light. Continue on Marina Bay Pkwy, crossing Regatta Blvd (4th traffic light). Turn left onto Bayside Drive.
