Michael Friedland will teach a ten day watercolor workshop in Umbria (an hour northeast of Rome). La Romita School of Art is built around a 16th century chapel and olive grove that a family has owned for generations. Sixty years ago, the property was converted to an art school. The Renaissance era chapel is our studio. Every day after breakfast, the school’s bus takes us to visit, explore or paint in a different Medieval Hill Town—some incredible places to see. I taught there in 2023, it’s a really wonderful experience! Upon arrival at the Rome airport, everything is included in the cost of the workshop.
