August 3:  ANNIE’S ANNUALS,  740 Market Ave Richmond *

www.anniesannuals.com/We can paint anywhere within the garden areas, just be mindful not to block the aisles. From San Pablo Ave, turn left on Church Lane in San Pablo which becomes Market Ave.  past Rumrill Blvd on the left after the railroad tracks. Beware of road construction in the area. Or head north on Seventh Street in Richmond which becomes Fred Jackson Way and turn right on Market Ave. Annie’s is on the right just past Sixth Street.

August 10: Keller Beach, 900 Dornan Drive, Richmond – Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline* Take I-580 in Richmond to Exit 8, the Canal Boulevard/Garrard Boulevard Exit. Turn left onto Canal Boulevard and continue under the freeway, turn right onto West Cutting at the corner near the Chevron Station, and left onto South Garrard Boulevard at the three-way stop. Proceed through the tunnel onto Dornan Drive. Park. The beach is on the immediate right. 

August 17: Indian Rock Park, 950 Indian Rock Ave, Berkeley. From El Cerrito take Arlington Ave to Marin Ave. enter the traffic circle and take 3rd right on Indian Rock Ave just before the Arlington exit. Berkeley /Oakland take 3rd right onto Indian Rock Ave.

August 24: Albany State Marine Reserve, 1 Buchanan Street, Albany (aka Albany Bulb)*
From I-80E driving north, exit at Buchanan Street. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Buchanan Street. Continue under the freeway, driving 0.4 miles towards the Bay and the north side of Golden Gate Field. Continue to a parking area at the end of Buchanan Street. Look for the large metal sculpture of the three shorebirds. Driving south on San Pablo Avenue, turn right on Buchanan Street and continue to its end. There is also new parking at the end to the left. You can hike up to the top of the new path and paint the view from the new rest area where there are benches and a picnic table.

August 31: Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline – Keller Beach.*

 Take I-580 in Richmond to Exit 8, the Canal Boulevard/Garrard Boulevard Exit. Turn left onto Canal Boulevard and continue under the freeway, turn right onto West Cutting at the corner near the Chevron Station, and left onto South Garrard Boulevard at the three-way stop. Proceed through the tunnel onto Dornan Drive. Continue south on Dornan to the end and park in the lot on the right.
