We meet at the site on Thursdays 11 am – 1 pm and welcome all artists. We’ll resume meeting afterward at the site to share our work with each other at 1 pm. 

Oct. 5th: THERE WILL BE NO SCHEDULED PLEIN AIR EVENT TODAY AS WE GET READY TO CHECK IN ARTWORK FOR THE ANNUAL SHOW.

*Oct. 12: Meet near the Mac Hotel in Point Richmond at the corner of Washington Ave and Park Place. From El Cerrito, take 1-580 west to exit 7B toward Point Richmond, Richmond Parkway. Keep right toward Richmond Parkway (0.3 mi). Turn left onto Casto Street toward Point Richmond. Turn left onto Tewksbury Ave, then turn right onto Cottage Ave.  We will gather near the triangular park across from the hotel.  There are lots of interesting buildings nearby to paint.  Later, we can get a bite to eat or a coffee at one of the many eateries nearby.

*Oct. 19: POINT PINOLE Meet at Atlas parking lot. (This is the North/newer parking lot) From I-580 east take the exit at Richmond Parkway/Castro Street and go north for about 5 miles on Richmond Parkway and turn left on to Atlas Blvd. The park entrance will be ahead on the left, past the railroad.   From 1-80, exit at Richmond Parkway and turn left (West). Take Richmond Parkway west past San Pablo Ave, then turn right onto Atlas Blvd. The park entrance will be ahead on the left, past the railroad. 

*Oct. 26: Alvarado Park, 5801 Park Avenue, Richmond. Take Arlington Ave. North until it ends at McBryde Ave.  Turn right on McBryde and park on the street.  Walk into the park where we will meet.  This park has a lot of beautiful stonework laid by WPA works during the Depression, water features and lot of tables and canopies to set up your stuff.
